Intrepid Potash lowered its fiscal 2026 production guidance for its Trio segment to 290,000-300,000 tons, down from 305,000-315,000 tons. The cut follows third-quarter results in which adjusted EPS of $0.14 missed the $0.25 estimate, while sales volume fell to 59K tons and average net realized potash price rose to $394 per ton.
A lower potash output outlook tightens near-term supply of a key fertilizer input, which can support fertilizer prices and feed-crop input costs. The effect on feed commodity prices is limited.
