Wholesale broiler prices in Russia reached 250 rubles per kg in the 44th week of 2026, up 37% year on year and 2% week on week. Fillet, thigh and drumstick prices also rose sharply, while only wing prices fell.
Retail chicken prices rose 15.8% year on year in September according to Rosstat.
Higher poultry production costs and lower output are pushing up domestic chicken prices, and imports from Belarus and China are not containing the increase. Feed buyers should expect firm demand for chicken-related feed as producers face higher costs.
