CJ Indonesia held its second symposium in Jakarta on 3 November 2026, co-hosted with Infovet magazine, on the theme of nutrition strategies under rising feed costs. CJ BIO's Dr Jae Cheol Kim presented ways to cut feed costs, including lowering crude protein and digestible lysine while keeping amino acid balance.
He noted that soybean meal prices are very high.
High soybean meal prices push Indonesian feed formulators toward lower-protein diets supplemented with synthetic amino acids, which raises demand for lysine and other amino acids. This is a routine industry event rather than a new price driver.
