Bank of Mexico's October survey of private economists sees headline inflation at 3.88% for 2026 and 3.85% for 2027. Economists expect the policy rate to stay at 6.50% through 2027 and the peso to finish 2026 near 18.39 per dollar.
Expected stable rates and a steady peso suggest no sharp currency shift for Mexican feed importers ahead. Higher inflation forecasts, however, point to a higher domestic cost environment.
