BioMar reported third-quarter EBIT of DKK 618 million, up from DKK 411 million a year earlier, on 19% higher revenue and 5% higher feed volumes to 488,000 tonnes. It raised full-year EBIT and revenue guidance but reduced expected annual feed volumes to 1.60–1.65 million tonnes, and warned that current profitability may not persist.
The company links higher marine ingredient prices to El Niño, which tightens fishmeal and fish oil supply for feed buyers. Lower expected volumes point to softer aquafeed demand in the final quarter.
