Thailand's Bank of Thailand circular of 29 September requires supporting documents for gold proceeds sent into the country at every transaction size, including baht payments through non-resident accounts. The rules also set spot-inflow checks when residents place overseas receipts in foreign-currency deposit accounts.
This is a foreign-exchange compliance rule about capital flows and does not directly move feed ingredient supply, demand or prices. It has at most a marginal effect on the baht's exchange rate for importers paying in dollars.
