The October Logistics Managers Index, released November 3, showed transportation capacity contracting for an 11th straight month, with the Transportation Capacity Index at 38 versus 54.5 a year earlier. Transportation prices in the index rose to 88 from 61.7 a year ago, and respondents expect them to climb above 90 over the next 12 months.

After 110 past bullish logistics events, DIESEL moved a median +0.8% over 5 sessions (55% higher; middle half -2.9% to +4.4%), and +0.2% over 20.
