Chicago wheat closed about US$0.18 lower at US$221.75 per tonne on the December contract, pressured by expectations of more Russian exports after Azov Sea shipments resumed. Corn also declined on harvest progress, while soybeans were supported by new US export sales.
Weekly US wheat export sales were reported at about 850,000 tonnes.
Resumed Russian grain shipments from the Azov Sea increase global wheat supply and weigh on prices, while firm US wheat demand limits losses. Soybean export sales provide modest support for soy meal and feed costs.
