Agroexport Federal Center told TASS that Russia shipped about 27,000 metric tons of sunflower oil to the UAE in January to September 2026, worth more than $38 million. Volumes rose roughly 18 times year on year, the highest for any full year on record.
This is a small single-destination flow relative to global sunflower oil trade, so price impact is limited, though it shows Russian sunflower oil finding new outlets as Black Sea supply tightens.
