Brazilian mill Coruripe reported adjusted EBITDA of R$507.2 million for the 2026/27 season through September, down 27% from a year earlier. Cane crushing rose 9.4% to 10.58 million tonnes, and ethanol output grew 24%, but weaker sugar and ethanol prices cut revenue and margins.
Lower sugar and ethanol prices reduce mill profitability in Brazil's Center-South, which can slow investment and shift cane toward whichever product pays more. Its effect on feed commodity prices is limited.
