Corn prices in Brazil rose again, ending a sequence of declines the previous week, according to Cepea. The Campinas (SP) indicator rose to R$ 65.64 per bag, supported by a stronger dollar, higher port prices and sellers holding back offers, though business remains slow.
A stronger dollar lifts export parity and domestic corn prices, raising feed costs for poultry, pork and feed producers. Buyers are making only spot purchases, so the rally may be limited unless the dollar keeps climbing.
