Amino acid prices were broadly stable on November 3. Domestic methionine offers were mostly withdrawn, with trades at 25.5-26.2 yuan/kg, and southern China transacting reasonably well.
Shandong lysine prices rose by 0.05-0.1 yuan/kg, and threonine offers increased with weak mid-stream acceptance, while tryptophan and valine held steady.
Lysine supply is set to rise as leading producers finish conversion work and add about 80% more lysine output, which limits the upside from the price increase. Feed buyers should watch end demand and overseas restocking, since these will decide whether the firmer offers hold.
