CBOT corn futures slipped again on Tuesday morning, giving back small gains from the first trading day of November. December 2026 corn traded at US$4.47 per bushel, down 1.25 cents, after losing more than 10% in October.
The USDA announced a private sale of about 1.73 million tonnes of corn to Mexico, while US harvest progress and lower September ethanol grind remain in focus.
Fresh Mexican demand offers some support, but ample US supply and harvest pressure keep corn prices under pressure, which favours cheaper feed grain costs for buyers.
