On 2 November, high-fat DDGS in Jilin was quoted at 2,130-2,240 yuan/t, with Yanbian/Liaoyuan at 2,170, Siping at 2,250 and low-fat DDGS in Tonghua at 1,930 yuan/t. Ethanol producers' quotes were stable, with a few plants raising prices slightly.
Rising feed corn costs are squeezing ethanol plants, and somewhat better shipments may support DDGS prices in the short term. Analysts expect Jilin DDGS prices to hold steady for now.
