CBOT December 2026 corn settled at US$4.4825 per bushel on November 2, up 0.11%. The contract had reached US$4.5200 intraday, and the March, May and July 2027 contracts also ended slightly higher.
USDA data showed corn export inspections of 884,766 metric tons in the week ended October 29, up 38.63% week on week but 48.32% below a year earlier.
Export inspections running well below last year, alongside harvest progress, keep corn demand the main pressure point. The price moved only marginally, so the session gives no clear directional signal for feed buyers.
