CBOT soybeans closed mixed on Friday, with the January contract down 0.04%, while China's purchases rose and rain in parts of the US was expected to limit further declines. USDA reported private exporters sold about 297,000 tonnes of US soybeans to unknown destinations for 2026/27 delivery.
Dalian soymeal main contract hovered near 3200 yuan per ton, and corn futures and hog spot prices were also discussed.
Expectations of weak US soybeans and ample new-crop corn supply point to soft soymeal and feed grain prices, though Chinese buying offers some support.
