First Milk, a farmer-owned UK co-operative, will hold its manufacturing standard litre at 39p per litre from 1 December 2026, including the member premium. This is the third straight month at that level, following an October increase of 3.15p from September's 35.85p.
Rival processor Freshways announced a 7p cut to 31p from 1 December.
A flat UK milk price offers near-term stability for dairy farmers heading into winter, while Freshways' sharp cut shows processors diverging. Because the processors use different specifications and premiums, the headline prices are not directly comparable, so the signal for feed demand is mixed rather than a clear directional move.
