Soybeans closed lower on Monday, with November 2026 futures down 17.5 cents to $12.04 3/4 and soymeal and soyoil also falling. USDA reported a 136,000 MT private export sale to China for 2026/27, while the US soybean harvest reached 88% complete.
NASS data showed September crush down 5.16% month over month and soybean oil stocks at a record low for the series.
Harvest pressure and a large crush-driven soyoil stock drawdown offset steady Chinese buying, leaving soybean prices weak in the near term. Soymeal's decline also lowers the cost of protein for feed buyers.
