Arla Foods cut its advance conventional milk price for November by 0.59 euro per 100 kg, bringing the Dutch price to 45.42 euro. The organic advance price fell 1.28 euro to 66.99 euro, the first reduction this year for both milk streams.
Most large West European dairies raised prices, so Arla's cut signals divergence in dairy supply costs and milk pools. For feed buyers, the signal points to softer dairy-sector margins and possibly slower demand for milk-based feed inputs in the near term.
