Polish dairies sold block butter at 18.01 zł/kg in the week of 12-18 October, down 2% week on week and 29% year on year. Skimmed milk powder rose 3% week on week to 13.64 zł/kg, and Edam cheese was 3% dearer at 17.35 zł/kg.
Lower butter and firmer powder prices reflect mixed dairy demand in Poland. The changes are small and have no clear impact on feed commodity prices.
