First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov reported that the first and second commissioning phases of the Nezhin mining and processing complex are complete, with all 50 start-up complexes signed off. Output is expected to reach 500,000 tonnes this year and a full one million tonnes of potassium chloride per year next year.
Full capacity of one million tonnes per year adds meaningful potash supply from Belarus, which is bearish for potash prices.
