President Lukashenko held a meeting on the investment project to build the Nezhin mining and processing complex in Belarus, which he called a flagship project. Commissioning of the first and second construction phases was due by July 3 and has been moved to November 1, and about 400,000 tonnes of potash fertilizer have already been produced and sold on export markets.
Ramp-up of the Nezhin plant to 1.1-1.2 million tonnes of fertilizer adds potash export supply, which is bearish for global potash prices.
