Weekly Chinese market data show phosphoric acid down 0.6% week-on-week to 8,300 yuan per tonne, while yellow phosphorus rose 0.01% and phosphorus trichloride was flat. Sulfur fell 6.95% and liquid ammonia dropped 5.42% over the week, while urea rose 0.86% to 1,750 yuan per tonne.
Lower sulfur and ammonia costs ease phosphate and nitrogen fertilizer production expenses, a mild bearish signal for fertilizer prices. Feed buyers see little direct grain impact from these routine weekly moves.
