Triveni Engineering, an Indian sugar and ethanol maker, reported a H1 FY27 profit after tax of ₹97 crore against a loss of ₹18 crore a year earlier. Revenue rose 5.3% to ₹3,311 crore and the EBITDA margin widened to 6.9%, while net debt fell to ₹157 crore.
The results reflect firmer sugar prices and better alcohol and by-product realisations in India, which tightens the sugar balance and supports ethanol and DDGS economics. The effect on feed-grade prices is limited.
