Polish grain buyers' prices for wheat and corn fell again, while some buyers raised rapeseed prices by up to 40 zloty per tonne. On Euronext (MATIF), December wheat closed at 228 euro/t on October 30 after weekly declines, and November rapeseed was 527.50 euro/t.
Lower EU wheat and corn benchmarks reflect heavy world wheat supply and Russian export strength, which weighs on feed grain costs. Rapeseed firmness, supported by high crude oil prices, supports meal and oil values.
