Russian wheat export prices fell last week alongside world markets, on reports that grain ships may leave the Sea of Azov and on expectations of a big Southern Hemisphere harvest. ICAR put 12.5% protein wheat at $260/t FOB Baltic for December, down $4 week on week, while SovEcon put it at $261/t.
Exports in October are estimated at about 3 million tonnes.
Lower Russian FOB offers add competitive pressure on world wheat, while the possible Azov reopening would ease logistics constraints and further weigh on prices.
