On October 31, national average corn was flat at 2,175 yuan per tonne and soymeal fell 17 yuan to 3,248 yuan. Rapeseed meal rose 10 yuan to 2,375 yuan, narrowing its spread to soymeal to about 873 yuan, while DDGS and fishmeal were unchanged.
Most soymeal mills cut quotes by 10 to 30 yuan.
Broad soymeal mill price cuts point to ample domestic meal supply, while the narrowing spread to rapeseed meal may shift aquafeed buying toward rapeseed meal and cap soymeal rebounds.
