The rupee fell 10 paise to a provisional close of 94.86 per dollar on Monday, November 2. It had recovered sharply in prior sessions, and forex traders said it was showing signs of near-term stabilisation.
The move is small and mainly reflects routine currency flows. A weaker rupee raises the local cost of dollar-priced feed imports, but the change is too minor to shift price expectations.
