CattleFax analyst Mike Murphy says fed and feeder cattle have traded more than $10/cwt higher over the past two weeks, giving producers hope the bottom may be near. Many calves in Montana, Wyoming and the Dakotas remain unsold after the sharp feeder price downturn.
