Russian potash producer Uralkali raised its 2017 global potash consumption forecast on improving demand. First-half net revenue rose 23% year-on-year to $1.095 billion, while net profit was roughly halved partly due to rouble devaluation against the dollar.
The company reported higher production and sales volumes.
