CJ Bio America is starting its fourth year of producing lysine and liquid fertilizer at its Fort Dodge, Iowa plant, which has a 110,000 metric ton annual lysine capacity. Cargill's neighbouring wet corn mill continues operating and uses about 150,000 bushels of corn a day at full capacity.
Both plants are running at established rates, so there is no new change in lysine or corn demand from this update.
