CLAL's Oceania report for February 6 to 17, 2017 found Australian milk output down 8.55% and New Zealand down 2.97% year on year for the dairy season to date. Butter, cheddar, SMP and WMP prices firmed, with fats in short supply.
Lower Oceania milk output and firmer fat and powder prices point to a tight global dairy supply, which supports dairy commodity prices and feed-related dairy demand.
