India, Laos, Niger and Vietnam reported fresh H5N1 poultry outbreaks, with India culling a state breeding farm in Odisha. Other countries reported more H5N8 detections in wild birds and poultry.

Each new poultry outbreak removes birds from the supply chain and modestly supports chicken prices and reduces poultry feed demand. The spread across several regions adds to the overall tightness in poultry supply.
