Belarus's Slavkaliy will sell its potash products only through the Belarusian Potash Company (BPC) and will not compete with Belaruskali. Its chairman also said investing in BPC's charter capital is not on the agenda until the Nezhinsky mining plant is built.
The plant, which began construction in 2016, is planned to produce up to 2 million tonnes of potash a year.
The sales arrangement is a structural change with limited near-term supply impact, since the new plant is years from output and the story does not change current volumes.
