Hungarian monthly fertiliser review reports that urea prices were largely unchanged in July, with small gains in Brazil and the US (about $10/t in the US) attributed to lower supply. Russian producers raised ammonium nitrate prices for August shipments, and Black Sea urea traded at $200-205/t.
Moroccan DAP prices fell further, and Lithuanian DAP exports were reportedly down about 30% year on year.
Analysts expect nitrogen prices to edge higher on tighter supply, while weaker Moroccan DAP offers pull phosphate prices down. For feed buyers, these fertiliser moves feed into future crop input costs.
