A Mexican trade team of poultry and pork producers toured Minnesota and Kansas in July to learn about U.S. DDGS production and nutrition. The U.S. Grains Council said pork producers who currently avoid DDGS imports hold misperceptions based on outdated data.
Market development could gradually raise Mexican DDGS inclusion and imports, but the effect on near-term prices is limited.
