DDGS prices paused their climb as ethanol plants aggressively marketed forward months and international buyers bid low. Barge CIF NOLA values rose $1/MT while FOB Gulf prices were flat to $2/MT lower, and DDGS were priced at 104% of cash corn and 40% of cash soybean meal.
Rising ethanol output is adding DDGS supply while export bids are weak, which pressures DDGS prices and their value versus corn and soymeal. Solid domestic livestock demand provides some support.
