DDGS prices firmed in light trading even as corn futures weakened. The FOB ethanol plant price rose to $112.34 per ton, which put DDGS at 100 percent of cash corn and 39 percent of Kansas City soybean meal.
FOB U.S. Gulf DDGS was steady at $174.25 per metric ton.
DDGS holding close to corn value and gaining against soybean meal makes it more attractive to feed users, supporting demand and price. The reading also suggests DDGS is undervalued against historic norms.
