Class III milk futures on the CME rose on follow-through buying, with October up 15 cents to $16.17 and November up 30 cents to $16.25. Cash cheese blocks gained 2 cents to $1.6125 and butter fell 2.5 cents to $2.4475.
Higher cheese and futures prices support milk values, but butter weakness and firm Midwest milk supplies limit the gain. The move is routine market action.
