On the CME, Class III milk futures closed mostly lower on Tuesday, with November up slightly at $16.58. Butter fell to $2.25 and nonfat dry milk slipped to about $0.73 per pound, while cheese blocks closed up one cent at $1.76.
Routine futures moves with no new cause, so the effect on feed demand is small. Weak butter and nonfat dry milk point to soft dairy product values.
