Corn futures for December delivery declined 0.5% to $3.51 per bushel on October 25 as the dollar index dipped slightly. USDA data showed only 28% of the US corn crop harvested, well below the five-year average of 47%, and weekly export sales of 1.25 million tonnes, led by Mexico.
Slow harvest and steady export sales support corn demand, but the softer dollar and harvest pressure limit gains, leaving feed corn prices roughly flat.
