The Canola Council of Canada held a Canola Dialogue in Beijing with more than 60 Chinese and Canadian officials and industry participants, as part of Minister MacAulay's trade mission. An MOU was signed between the CCC and the CFNA to support stable, open canola trade.
The event aims to stabilise access to China, but no volume commitments were made, so near-term canola demand and price impact is minimal.
