Analysts at Ever.Ag updated their monthly dairy forecast, lowering cheese, whey and nonfat dry milk prices in nearby months and into the first half of 2025. They raised their butter forecast by 15 to 25 cents for individual months in 2024.
Lower cheese, whey and nonfat dry milk forecasts point to weaker milk ingredient values, while the higher butter forecast offsets part of that decline. The net effect on Class III prices is mixed.

Ever.Ag cut cheese, whey and nonfat dry milk forecasts for nearby months and into 2025, which reinforces bearish expectations for Class III, though the timing is uncertain.
