DTN reported the average DDG spot price at $148 per ton for the week ended February 15, up $1 on the week. Tight supplies in some states and the lowest weekly ethanol output since January supported prices, while Texas border prices stayed strong on Mexican demand.
Lower ethanol output tightens DDG supply, supporting prices, and a surge in soymeal keeps DDG a good-value feed. Firmer pricing is likely to persist for feed buyers.
