Grain transporters' protest brought truck traffic to a near standstill at Argentine terminals on Wednesday, halting grain shipments in the Rosario hub, which handles about 80% of the country's grain and derivative exports. Ports at Bahía Blanca and Quequén were also affected, and some terminals had run out of stock.
With Rosario largely halted and storage emptying, export and crush volumes are cut, which supports soybean, soymeal and corn prices as buyers look to other origins.
