Oil prices slipped on March 29 as OPEC comments that its output curbs would likely stay in place for the rest of 2018 were offset by a rise in US crude inventories. June Brent was down about 35 cents at $68.41 and WTI was down 7 cents at $64.31.
Brent had touched $71 earlier in the week.
Rising US inventories and output cap crude gains despite OPEC restraint, which keeps energy input costs for feed mills from rising further. The move is routine and small.
