Ukrainian sunflower seed stocks as of March 1, 2018 were 4.348 million tonnes, 383 thousand tons below a year earlier. Refined sunflower oil export prices rose by $10-15 per ton in March, and processors raised sunflower seed prices by 100-150 UAH per ton.
Tighter Ukrainian sunflower supplies and firmer oil prices support sunflower complex values, with drought in Argentina also lifting soybean complex prices.
