Syngenta promoted its Cellerate process technology, which converts corn kernel fiber into cellulosic ethanol and additional co-products at dry grind plants. The company said the Quad County Corn Processors plant has generated nearly 40% of all D3 RINs produced since 2014.
Fiber conversion technology could raise ethanol output and feed protein per bushel over time, but it is a product announcement with limited immediate effect on corn or feed prices.
