Hong Kong's Centre for Food Safety advised traders to temporarily halt poultry imports from the Holstebro region of Denmark after a low-pathogenic H5 outbreak on a duck farm where 20,900 ducks were culled. The source of infection is unknown, and a 1km restricted zone was set.
The import halt is a small, regionally limited trade restriction on Danish poultry, with minimal impact on global feed grain or meal demand.
