Avenira is progressing the feasibility study for expanding its 80%-owned Baobab phosphate project in Senegal, with engineering consultant Wood advancing process design. The study is now expected to finish in Q4 2018 due to additional test work.
Expansion of the Baobab project would add phosphate rock supply in the long term, but the delay and early stage mean no near-term effect on prices.
